About this trip

Teyuna, also known as the Lost City, is recognized as the sacred sanctuary of the ancient Tayrona civilization. During the trek, you will hike through lush jungle terrain, navigating both ascents and descents alongside the Buritaca River, while encountering indigenous communities such as the Wiwa and Kogui along the way.

Reaching this sacred city is one of the most rewarding experiences after several days of physical challenge, as you immerse yourself in the rich flora and fauna of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, and connect with the ancestral magic that surrounds its forests.
